Weekend with Family

I would like to tell about the weekend. It was Sherry'sb-day, we had a great time. Sherry and I went shopping and added two new outfits to her wardrobe. We visited with Mike and Nancy Howard (Sherry's brother). We had a delicious meal, thanks to Corinne. We talked with Lindsay and Chris over web-cam, great fun. But the high-light was the notes combined by our children about their GREAT MOM...I am so blessed!!!!

We went to California to visit Julie, Dewey, Makayla, and Zayne. A fun trip to see how big Zayne has grown. It is hard to get time to go visit our children and now that they are spreading out it will be increasingly difficult to see them all every year. We will try to organize our time to get to all their homes. We spent a few days and went to the following places.
Museum of natural history in Los Angeles, Zanye was even quiet throughout this event. Next was a picnic in the park, with a trip to Olvera street in L.A. We had a great time. Everyone is fine and watching our grandchildren growing up is fun too.

Saturday in sunny St. George only 113 degrees so we took a few minutes to cool down in the pool.

NICKMO

We are not getting older but this is Ethan the youngest of our six children on his 16th birthday. Wow how time flies. He is the sweetest teenager anyone could hope for, and the joy of our later years. Born and raised in St. George Utah, some would say that the last child might get spoiled. Not from us but his sisters and brothers are doing a fine job at it!!!!

June 28, 2009 Sherry and Ethan go to Julie's and help yet another one of our children get ready for a move across town. They live in Westlake Village Calif. Ethan, Makayla and Zayne on one of those fun packing days.

Pioneer Trek june 2009

May finds part of our family taking a rip around the world, well only to the coast of California. We went on a five day cruise to Catalina and the waters around Ensenada Mexico. We had a great time and are planning the next adventure. Woo-Hoo
Also this trip included a visit to Uncle Jerry (story for another day)

In March and April we worked on Ethan's Eagle project planting trees and a water system at the church ball field.

Rocky and Sherry alive and doing well in 2009

The year of 2009 started out well and has been fast to say the least. We start with family pictures, most of them can be found on our children's blogs, we are growing older and enjoying life to the utmost. What a joy to be with our family for many events this year. You have to admit we make a fine couple. (Mister and Misses Fine)
